So we went to Branson Landing this year for our annual Christmas photo outdoor shoot. Chaos I tell you. We had fun but it was immensely windy, cool and packed full of people. We also took our niece and my father and Chad's dad as well.

Kids say the darnedest things

They really do. What I mean is...well if you know Ledger you may have seen these statements coming from him at some point. Lets start with "Sniper School." About one month ago Ledger (and I should note, he has these epiphanies in the back seat of the car) says to me..."Mom, is sniper school a real Place?" "Yes, Ledger, sniper school is a real thing...WHY?" (ok this is me asking the obvious with regard to Ledger...we all know he takes after his uncle Jason and is destined to wear camo as part of his job requirements) "Good, cause I am going to go there Mom." "I want to be a sniper so I can shoot 'stuff'."

The phone calls to family that ensued afterwords were met with great laughter at his proclamation of career choice. We all saw it coming but he is only 6 and in our house we certainly don't discuss sniper school or snipers for that matter on any regular basis.

Next is the conversation from last night. Ledger, my Dad, and I are coming home from the store and Ledger announces to my Dad and I that he knows what he is going to name his "first" son. "What is that Ledge?" "I am going to name him 'Tombstone Quiram'!" "well actually I am going to name him 'Tombstone Chadwick Quiram'."

The child comes up with the darnedest things. Now all he has to do is get some girl to agree to the name. I personally don't think it is that bad...but hey I named him Ledger!

Had school last night...man am I old. The boys have picture day today, so that was fun this morning. I have math tonight, I hate math! Thankfully it is only a 50 min course 2x per week. We met with my dad's SS lawyer and while it felt defeating it also felt motivating in the sense that at least now we know where we are headed in the next couple weeks. So I am off to get him an appointment with the Ortho and to see if we can't get something good to happen there for him.
